We are all allowed to have our views on things, situations, people. When it comes to people, we often fear being completely blunt with them. We ignore that storing thoughts and feelings makes it harder to keep moving forward in a relationship (of any kind, not only romantic). Bottling up makes the other person unaware of what goes through your mind, whether it’s positive or negative. Hardest part of keeping it to yourself is when you don’t get the chance to let someone know important facts: it builds up within you, ‘what if’s’ come up at night to remind you how time goes by…
All this blogging thing is just an exercise for myself: I want to stop feeling ashamed for being vulnerable. We all are, but some of us keep this tough façade as a way of surviving. Here I’m gonna share things I’ve never had the chance to say.
- Life would have been different if I really knew your intentions…
- I am deeply sorry.
- I took it personally at first but you made me grow.
- I still think and dream of you, I wish things were as they used to be, but we had our due date. Thank you for the times you stood by me.
- You’ve let them take over you…
- We all get what we deserve.
- I’ve known you for years… But I still don’t know who you are…
- You make me uncomfortable, yet I think you are special.
- I thought I could trust you.
